Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Grade 1 Teacher for our Einstein class at Tree Yard International School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Montessori and Cambridge accredited curricula & teaching methods and be capable of teaching all subjects for this year group.

This role is pivotal in laying a strong educational foundation for our students and nurturing their intellectual and emotional growth.

Responsibilities

Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in all subjects in alignment with Montessori and Cambridge curricula.

Classroom Management: Create a positive learning environment that supports students’ emotional and social development.

Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assess student performance through various methods and use this data to inform teaching strategies.

Individualized Learning: Cater to the diverse needs of students, providing additional support where necessary.

Parent Communication: Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.

Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest educational practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Extracurricular

Involvement: Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events.

Requirements

Qualifications: Degree in Education or a related field..

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, with significant experience in Montessori and some Cambridge education systems.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate young learners.
  • Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Certifications: Valid teaching certification in relevant subject areas.
